run with me

?????????????????????????????????????????guy trail running

come
run with me
with abandon
like the wind
carried us away
as barefoot children
through waves of wheat
and spider webs
feel the glee
of running free
on trails over hills
rocks and roots
unencumbered
unplugged
disconnected
though now we plod
more than skip
yet I yearn
for your laughter
and cadenced breaths
at my side
come
run with me
